Why Calvo exists
Students should not need a physical calculator, a separate unit converter and a printed formula booklet just to finish their homework. Calvo started as an attempt to put those things in one browser tab. Over time it grew to include the tools Pakistani students look for during exam and admission season: the HEC-style GPA and CGPA tables, merit calculators for MDCAT, ECAT, NUST and FAST, an attendance planner, and document tools that resize photos or compress PDFs to the sizes application forms ask for.
What you will find here
- Calculators for marks and admission: GPA, CGPA, CGPA to percentage, target CGPA, attendance and merit aggregate calculators.
- Math with steps: derivative, integral and limit calculators, an algebra simplifier, equation solvers, matrices, statistics and an AI solver.
- Science and formulas: a formula library by class and subject, a periodic table, a chemical equation balancer and physics calculators.
- Document tools: photo resizer, image to PDF, PDF compressor, merge and split, title page and CV builders.
- Guides: worked examples and explanations on the blog, and a short How to Use page for the calculator buttons.
How we try to keep things accurate
- Where it is possible, the calculus tools check their answer numerically as well as symbolically, so an incorrect result is easier to catch.
- Merit calculators show the weights they use for each test. Admission formulas change between years and between universities, so each page tells you to confirm the weights in the official prospectus or notice.
- Grade tables follow the Higher Education Commission recommendation. Your own university's handbook and transcript always take priority.
- If you find a wrong formula, a calculation error or outdated information, email us. Reported problems are checked and the page is corrected.
Privacy and cost
Calvo is free to use and does not ask you to create an account. The photo and PDF tools run in your browser, so your files are not uploaded to a server. The AI Solver works with your own Gemini API key. The privacy policy explains what is and is not stored, and the terms describe how the site may be used.
Who is behind Calvo
Calvo is built and maintained by Hafiz Muhammad Usman, a software developer. You can read more about his work on the author page.
