The aggregate formula
Most merit lists use a weighted percentage: Aggregate = Σ (Obtained ÷ Total × Weightage), where the weightages add up to 100.

| Admission | Matric | FSc | Test | Page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MDCAT (MBBS / BDS) | 10% | 40% | 50% (out of 180) | MDCAT calculator |
| ECAT / UET Lahore | 17% | 50% (Part-I) | 33% (out of 400) | ECAT calculator |

These are the weightages we found for the current cycle. They can change every year, so check your admission notice.
Worked example
Matric 900 of 1100 at 10%: 900 ÷ 1100 × 10 = 8.18. Intermediate 800 of 1100 at 40%: 800 ÷ 1100 × 40 = 29.09. Entry test 120 of 200 at 50%: 120 ÷ 200 × 50 = 30.00. Aggregate = 8.18 + 29.09 + 30.00 = 67.27%.
Important
Weightages, and even which marks count, change by university, program and year. Some add interview or hafiz-e-Quran marks. Always follow the official admission notice. This calculator is only for estimating. To turn a percentage into a grade, see the percentage calculator.
