How it works
Each photo is resized to a sensible size, saved as a compressed JPEG and placed on its own PDF page. You choose A4, Letter, or a page that fits the image exactly, and a margin if you want white space around the photo. Everything happens on your device, so it also works for private documents.
Scan mode
Turn on Scan mode to make photos of handwritten pages look like scanned documents. It evens out shadows and uneven light, turns the paper white and makes the writing dark and sharp. Choose Clean to keep colours, Grayscale document for a softer look, or Black & white for the sharpest text and the smallest file. For best results, photograph the page flat in good light and use High quality.

How do I convert photos to a PDF?
Tap the box and choose your photos, put them in the right order with the arrow buttons, pick a page size and tap Convert to PDF. Then download the file or share it.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is made inside your browser, so your photos never leave your phone or computer.
How can I make the PDF small enough for an upload portal?
Type a maximum size such as 500 KB or 2 MB before converting. Calvo lowers the image quality step by step until the PDF fits, or tells you if it cannot get that small.
What is the best way to scan handwritten assignment pages?
Take clear photos in good daylight with the page flat and fully inside the frame. Add them in page order, rotate any sideways photo with the rotate button, and use A4 with a small margin.
Can I make my phone photos look like a proper scan?
Yes. Turn on Scan mode before converting. It removes shadows, makes the paper white and darkens the writing, similar to a document scanner app. Black & white gives the sharpest text and the smallest file.
Can I rotate or reorder pages?
Yes. Each image has buttons to move it up or down, rotate it by 90 degrees, or remove it before you convert.
Why was my HEIC photo skipped?
Some browsers cannot open HEIC files from iPhones. Change the camera format to Most Compatible, or save the photo as JPG, and add it again.
